"A Man of Few Words" is a book that I picked up thinking I would read a page or two before bed; I ended up staying up late to read the whole book in one sitting. It is a powerful testament to love and family. Jack Conway was a man of few words and seven children, with a talented and beautiful wife who struggled with and ultimately prevailed over alcoholism. However, this beautiful biography is more about the inner life of a man, rather than a day-by-day account of what happened to him and why. As such, it is truly inspirational. After I finished the last page, I felt the spirit of Jack Conway, my uncle and godfather, with me for days. And that is a very good thing. He was the sort of man whose strength of spirit you wish you could carry around with you always.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants a reminder about the importance of love and family.
